Senior Data Analyst (AI)

Location: New York City, USA; hybrid schedule with 3 in-office days per week. NYC-based candidates or candidates open to relocation are preferred.

Salary: $165,000–$215,000 per year plus equity.

What you will do

• Own analytics for Customer Success and Operations, partnering with senior leaders to define roadmaps, opportunities, and success metrics.
• Prioritize requests for data, charts, and metrics based on business impact.
• Build self-service dashboards and work with Analytics Engineering on dbt models and data documentation.
• Translate open-ended business questions into PRDs and lead ambiguous, high-impact analytics projects.
• Develop reporting that improves customer retention, permit turnaround speed, and operational scalability.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role.
• Strong SQL skills, including CTEs and window functions.
• Experience with BI tools, preferably Omni, and data warehouses such as BigQuery or Snowflake.
• Working knowledge of dbt, including writing models, adding tests, opening pull requests, and optimizing efficiency.
• Hands-on experience using LLM tools such as Claude or Cursor for SQL, dbt modeling, and reporting automation.
• Ability to clarify the business decision behind an analytics request before implementing it.
