UX/UI Designer (IoT)

Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to Torrance, CA

Salary: $160,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end design process for mobile apps, vessel touchscreens, and the brand's marketing website.
• Create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and final UI assets for engineering handoff.
• Develop and maintain a scalable design system and style guide across consumer and commercial products.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate complex subsystems into elegant interfaces.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to iterate on designs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of UX/UI experience, specifically with complex digital products in the software-defined hardware space (Mobile, Web, or Embedded).
• Proven ability to function as a Product Designer who understands business logic and engineering trade-offs.
• Fluency in modern design tools including Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance creative workflows.
• Must be based in or eligible to relocate to Torrance, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience working with premium consumer, technology, or automotive brands.
• Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
• Ability to mentor designers and help build a design organization.
