Senior Warehouse and Material Flow Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: hirify.global Operaciones de Mexico manufacturing factory in Cienega de Flores, Nuevo León, near Monterrey, Mexico. This is not a remote position; the hybrid model may allow working from home up to two days per week where applicable to the role and team.

What you will do

• Lead a team of more than 450 employees across logistics operations in 3+ packing and processing buildings.
• Manage material flow from receiving and storage through production supply and finished-goods handling, ensuring uninterrupted supply and inventory accuracy.
• Own logistics performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, people KPIs, annual budgeting, and resource availability.
• Develop Supervisors and front-line leaders, establish goals, provide feedback, and drive motivation and satisfaction results.
• Lead Lean, Kaizen, 5S, benchmarking, and continuous-improvement initiatives focused on productivity and cost reduction.
• Drive WMS, ERP, automation, and intralogistics projects while ensuring compliance with FSC, OEA, CTPAT, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and internal work regulations.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in warehouse and material-flow processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading people and supervising front-line logistics leaders.
• Strong leadership, analytical, strategic-thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, teamwork, collaboration, stakeholder-management, change-management, and personnel-administration skills.
• Knowledge of operational excellence and lean-manufacturing tools, including 5S, JIT, TPM, Kanban, and Gemba.
• Broad knowledge of forklift types, battery rooms, racking systems, and intralogistics.
• Knowledge of MS Office, SAP Galaxy, and the COMBI warehouse management system.
• Experience with warehouse operations, material supply to production lines, and AGVs.
• Knowledge of CTPAT and/or OEA.
• Previous experience with WMS, ERP systems including SAP, and automation solutions.
• Experience managing costs and budgets.
