Materials Manager - Warehouse and Material Flow (Automotive)

Location: Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico; onsite, full-time.

What you will do

• Lead warehouse operations covering receiving, storage, picking, inventory control, and outbound shipping.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics, internal material movement, and timely material flow to production lines.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle-count programs and operational controls.
• Develop warehouse and materials-flow teams and collaborate with production, planning, logistics, and other cross-functional teams.
• Implement continuous-improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, cost control, and material-handling optimization.

Requirements

• Proven ability to lead warehouse and materials-flow teams.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong understanding of inventory accuracy, internal material flow, and logistics coordination.
• Effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with production, planning, logistics, and other cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in materials management or warehouse operations.
• Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing industries.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous-improvement tools.
