Logistics Support Specialist III

Location: On-site in Monterrey, NL 64640, Mexico; plant-based work in Garcia, NL.

What you will do

• Monitor daily transportation and shipment execution at the plant.
• Coordinate with customers, carriers, CSS, plant operations, and internal teams.
• Manage appointments, truck arrivals, documentation, and plant requirements.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, conflicts, and incidents in real time.
• Provide timely visibility into shipment status, risks, and corrective actions.
• Maintain customer relationships, support continuous improvement, and ensure high service levels.

Requirements

• Experience in customer service, logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a plant environment.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in a customer-facing logistics or transportation role.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or automotive plant.
• Experience coordinating carriers or transportation providers.
• Familiarity with TMS, load boards, or transportation tracking platforms.
• Experience with import/export logistics processes.
• Strong relationship-building skills and an extroverted, approachable personality.
