Senior Digital Product Owner

Location: Edinburgh or Stirling, United Kingdom; hybrid work with 2–3 days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Own and shape a rolling 12-month roadmap, including prioritisation, direction, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead discovery, research, customer testing, and operational and feasibility assessments before delivery.
• Define success criteria and performance measures to support evidence-based prioritisation.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX, operations, data, and risk teams to deliver intuitive, accessible, and compliant digital journeys.
• Represent Digital Propositions in governance and prioritisation forums, communicating progress, risks, decisions, and outcomes.
• Provide oversight across Product Owner activity, establish best practices, and coach Product Owners to improve capability and performance.

Requirements

• Strong experience in digital product ownership within financial services or another heavily regulated environment.
• Experience delivering measurable improvements to digital servicing journeys and understanding digital and legacy servicing models.
• Experience applying regulatory frameworks, including Consumer Duty or an equivalent.
• Ability to plan discovery, analyse data and research, and use evidence to guide decisions.
• Strong communication, stakeholder influence, agile delivery, leadership, and coaching skills.
• Ability to establish and uphold consistent Product Owner standards across multiple teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in proposition development or digital transformation.
• Understanding of UK life and pensions servicing models.
