What you will do

• Develop maintenance processes, repair strategies, equipment scopes, and schedules with plant leadership and operations.
• Apply predictive maintenance methods including thermography, vibration analysis, ultrasound, and tribology.
• Monitor equipment performance, diagnose abnormal conditions, and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and control-system issues.
• Prepare maintenance budgets and capital improvement proposals, then oversee approved projects.
• Inspect job sites, conduct pre-job safety briefings, and enforce safety and environmental compliance requirements.
• Track expenses, forecast department costs, train and evaluate personnel, and participate in on-call emergency response.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience in maintenance, reliability, or a related engineering discipline in a power plant, heavy industrial process environment, or military service.
• Strong knowledge of industrial plant equipment and systems, including instrumentation and controls with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to use and interpret predictive maintenance tools such as vibration analysis and thermography.
• Knowledge of maintenance management processes, work practices, and multidisciplinary asset relationships.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance, with excellent communication and multi-project management skills.

Nice to have

• Power plant operating department training or hands-on experience.
• Experience with structured project management methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems and workflow optimization.
