Maintenance Technician IV

Location: Onsite in North Chicago, Illinois, United States

Salary: $30.70–$55.40 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain department assets to support reliable equipment operation and quality standards.
• Provide senior-level maintenance support and act as a subject matter expert in advanced skilled-trade disciplines.
• Work with Reliability Engineering on maintenance program development, root cause analysis, and Reliability Centered Maintenance analysis.
• Train lower-level technicians and help develop technical training and on-the-job training modules.
• Support cross-functional teams, continuous improvement projects, and site safety initiatives.
• Follow safety requirements, Good Manufacturing Practice regulations, and the company code of conduct.

Requirements

• High school diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience, or a college degree, certificate, formal apprenticeship, or relevant technical degree with 5+ years of skilled-trade experience.
• Electrical skills and knowledge, including electrical systems up to three-phase 480V.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues to component level and replace failed components.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
• Knowledge of advanced machine, diagnostic, and predictive tools.
• Intermediate Microsoft Windows skills; CMRT certification or equivalent accreditation is desired.
