CNC Machinist (Precision Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Boulder, Colorado, United States

Salary: $22.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Set up, adjust, and operate basic, specialized, and advanced CNC machine tools.
• Machine medium- to difficult-complexity parts using milling, turning, and multi-axis equipment.
• Select appropriate tools, machines, materials, and abrasives for precision machining work.
• Modify existing CNC programs or write and test new programs for production processes.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances, then measure and inspect completed parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and optical comparators.
• Follow PPE and workplace safety requirements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of CNC machining experience or trade school training.
• Experience setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC milling, turning, or multi-axis machines.
• Proficiency in CNC programming and operation using G-code and M-code.
• Experience with precision measurement tools, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
