Product Assurance Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Implement product and quality assurance across the lifecycle of lunar rover projects.
• Develop PA/QA plans and ensure compliance with the product development process.
• Oversee manufacturing and support inspection activities, including parts, materials, processes, and supplier deliverables.
• Participate in engineering, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing reviews to verify quality, safety, and reliability.
• Conduct audits and inspections, identify risks and non-conformances, and lead root-cause resolution and corrective actions.
• Maintain and improve the quality system while contributing to risk, change management, and test campaigns.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in a scientific or technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience as a quality engineer in a space environment.
• Knowledge of space application development and production, including EEE, AIT, and software QA/PA.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with engineering, project, supplier, and customer stakeholders.
• Rigorous, detail-oriented, and analytical approach with the ability to identify risks and drive quality improvements.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ECSS product assurance standards and EN 9100.
• Experience with space flight hardware, systems engineering, fabrication, integration, quality, or configuration management.
• Experience collaborating with distributed teams.
