Buyer/Scheduler (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Watertown, Wisconsin, United States

Salary: $70,250–$103,026 per year, plus discretionary bonuses.

What you will do

• Purchase bulk and packaging raw materials for the Watertown manufacturing site through the SAP-MRP system.
• Support production planning, demand management, inventory control, material availability, and capacity planning.
• Review daily messages, identify discrepancies, notify stakeholders, and maintain invoice reports.
• Communicate with suppliers and coordinate with production, sales, and supply chain teams on forecasts, orders, risks, and alternatives.
• Develop inventory strategies and improve scheduling through production-process knowledge, MOQ management, and changeover sequencing.
• Back up the production scheduler on master schedules, delivery performance, production capacity, planning, and sales forecasts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of SAP experience.
• 3+ years of planning or buying experience.
• Ability to work onsite in Watertown, Wisconsin.

Nice to have

• Four-year degree.
• Alternatively, 3–5 years of relevant experience.
