Lead Electro Mechanical Engineer

What you will do

• Specify, design, and document electrical and electromechanical modules, with a focus on electronic cabling.
• Design complex products in 3D and 2D CAD, including wiring harnesses and sheet-metal components.
• Apply internal and international safety and EMC standards to product designs.
• Prepare and execute engineering changes to introduce designs into production.
• Maintain technical product documentation and configuration management from concept through factory implementation.
• Organize design reviews, plan work across projects, represent the multidisciplinary team, and coach designers or manage outsourced electrical modules depending on experience.

Requirements

• Secondary vocational education in electrical engineering or a similar field; Dutch MBO-4 education with an HBO-level thinking and acting attitude.
• At least 3 years of experience as an electromechanical designer, including multidisciplinary module design.
• Experience with 3D and 2D CAD design of complex products, preferably Siemens NX.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical, wiring, and connectivity concepts.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary design teams.
• Good command of English in speaking and writing is required.
