What you will do

• Lead the development and introduction of new products into the gas turbine combustion manufacturing portfolio.
• Identify, justify, and manage projects that improve manufacturing capability, yields, productivity, and capacity.
• Develop and improve manufacturing methods covering product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling, programming, equipment, assembly, and quality standards.
• Support or lead capital programs and manufacturing improvement projects.
• Define and communicate manufacturing processes to the shop floor through technical instructions, manufacturing instructions, and project briefings.
• Provide technical guidance and training to operators, technicians, and manufacturing engineers while collaborating with design and service engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment involving assembly, welding or fabrication, and machining.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications, including a solid understanding of GD&T.
• Understanding of root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, lean concepts, MRP systems, and quality control systems.
• Leadership ability, including coordinating timely actions across the department and with external stakeholders.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Nice to have

• Project management experience.
• Practical experience with SAP or equivalent MRP software.
• Experience with Siemens NX CAD software or an equivalent tool.
