Electromechanical / Lab Engineer (All Gender) (Electronics and Electromechanical Assembly): Supporting the assembly, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of lab equipment and prototypes with an accent on PCB soldering, wiring, crimping, and hands-on electromechanical work. Focus on assembling and modifying mechanical systems, using measurement equipment, resolving hardware issues, and maintaining technical documentation and CAD files.

Location: Munich, Germany; Region: Bavaria. The role involves laboratory and workshop activities, with flexible working hours and mobile working possible.

What you will do

  • Assemble laboratory and test equipment, including electromechanical components.
  • Perform PCB assembly, soldering, wiring, cable harnessing, and crimping.
  • Carry out mechanical assembly, modifications, prototype builds, repairs, and troubleshooting.
  • Use and maintain workshop tools, materials, lab equipment, and measurement instruments.
  • Update technical documentation and CAD files.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a comparable field.
  • Hands-on experience in electronics, electromechanics, laboratory, or workshop environments.
  • Strong soldering skills and confidence using a multimeter.
  • Basic knowledge of oscilloscopes and experience with laboratory power supplies.
  • Ability to use crimping and wiring tools.
  • Fluent English.
