What you will do

• Produce detailed 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using Siemens NX.
• Generate manufacturing drawings following BS8888 and GD&T standards.
• Perform engineering calculations, including stress analysis and tolerance stack-up assessments.
• Support integration activities with electrical and electronics teams.
• Participate in design reviews and create technical documentation.
• Support prototype assembly, testing, and development activities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in mechanical design.
• Proven experience using Siemens NX and Teamcenter for design and management.
• Strong understanding of 3D CAD, GD&T, and BS8888 or ASME Y14.5 standards.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical military background.
• Eligibility to obtain BPSS security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting electric motor or power conversion product development.
• Understanding of ECAD and MCAD integration activities.
• Practical machining experience and experience assembling engineering prototypes.
