Chemical Plater Processor

What you will do

• Perform technical processing tasks according to process instructions, including lead preparation, immersion treatments, and pre-plate operations.
• Complete general and preventive maintenance, including attaching anodes and changing filters.
• Support plating laboratory activities by pulling samples, plating coupons, filling water jugs, and making chemical additions to baths.
• Complete process and quality documentation, quarterly silver reports, monthly material issue sheets, checklists, and logs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maintain housekeeping standards, and report unsafe conditions.
• Work safely in acidic, basic, and toxic environments, including occasional overtime and weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or the ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer-based work instructions in English.
• Quality-conscious approach, mechanical aptitude, good dexterity, and basic arithmetic ability.
• Ability to work safely around hazardous chemicals without adverse reactions and to wear a respirator when handling toxic substances.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to follow all safety protocols and work required overtime, including weekends.

• Education or experience with chemicals or in a laboratory setting.
