Senior Materials and Corrosion Engineer

What you will do

• Conduct corrosion assessments for pipelines, piping, and equipment using applicable software where appropriate.
• Develop Corrosion Management Program reports, Material Selection Reports, Material Selection Diagrams, Coating Selection Diagrams, and Corrosion Loop Diagrams.
• Provide technical support for RBI, corrosion inspection manuals, On-Stream Inspection diagrams, and project engineering tasks.
• Lead engineering assessments using API 579, BS 7910, ASME B31G, DNV RP F101, and other applicable codes.
• Review integrity assessment materials, including ILI, Fitness for Purpose, repair recommendation, raw ILI data, and Direct Assessment reports.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, client representatives, global offices, and subject matter experts; conduct site visits when required.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of international and Saudi Aramco best practices, engineering standards, and procedures.
• Experience with corrosion calculations, metallurgical codes and standards, and their application to detail design.
• Experience reviewing technical bid evaluations and material-related technical documentation.
• Ability to support the training and development of junior team members.
