Vehicle Integration Intern (Automotive)

What you will do

• Install and configure Controller Area Network (CAN) instrumentation systems on prototype vehicles.
• Analyze vehicle data collected and transmitted to cloud servers to identify issues and the conditions in which they occur.
• Develop analytics dashboards covering fleet performance, efficiency, usage metrics, open issues, and requirements validation status.
• Collaborate with Chassis, Electrical, Powertrain, and other engineering groups to define useful signals and triggers for vehicle data analysis.
• Support engineers and managers in using reporting tools and dashboards to track key performance indicators.
• Assist with vehicle-level testing and validation of functional objectives through the requirements management system.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Graduation between August 2026 and May 2029.
• Availability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in vehicle communication networks, telematics, and data analysis tools.
• Comfort working in laboratory, vehicle, and plant environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with or eagerness to learn Python and Grafana.
