Recruiting Operations Manager (AI)

Location: Must be based in or able to work from San Francisco or New York City (Hybrid)

Salary: $150,000 – $180,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve the systems, workflows, and infrastructure powering the recruiting function.
• Partner with recruiters to identify friction points and manual work, prioritizing high-impact solutions.
• Build automations using tools like Ashby, Slack bots, AI-powered tools, and lightweight internal applications.
• Diagnose root causes of process failures and redesign underlying workflows rather than patching symptoms.
• Ensure recruiting data is trustworthy and provides clear visibility into pipeline health and funnel performance.
• Evaluate and implement new recruiting technology and AI tools to increase team effectiveness.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from San Francisco or New York City.
• Hands-on experience building operational workflows, automations, and integrations.
• Strong systems thinking with the ability to prioritize high-impact problems.
• Comfortable experimenting with tools like Claude, Cursor, Zapier, n8n, APIs, and scripts.
• Recruiter-first mindset with a focus on understanding team pain points.
• Ability to drive adoption and navigate disagreement without relying on authority.
