Leader, Enterprise Compliance (Fintech)

Location: Toronto, Canada; flexible hybrid work model

Salary: CAD 170,000–190,000 annually, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Develop and execute a multi-year enterprise compliance strategy and roadmap.
• Monitor regulatory developments, emerging risks, and industry trends.
• Lead compliance policies, standards, frameworks, governance structures, and the Governance, Risk & Compliance program.
• Provide independent oversight, challenge, and guidance on regulatory and compliance risks.
• Lead enterprise compliance assessments, gap analyses, and remediation initiatives.
• Prepare executive- and Board-level reporting using metrics, analytics, KPIs, and KRIs, while building and mentoring the compliance team.

Requirements

• University degree in Business, Management, Law, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise compliance, risk management, governance, regulatory affairs, or a related function within a regulated environment.
• Experience designing, implementing, and evolving enterprise compliance frameworks and programs.
• Strong knowledge of governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and control frameworks.
• Experience presenting to senior executives, Boards of Directors, and regulatory bodies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence complex enterprise-wide initiatives.

• Professional designation such as CRM or CPA.
