Senior II Cloud Administrator

Location: Canada; remote work is available globally, with occasional travel for in-person team-building events.

What you will do

• Own, maintain, and optimize corporate cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Ensure cloud availability, performance, networking, and security.
• Lead the Terraform environment and establish infrastructure-as-code and automation practices.
• Lead complex, cross-functional cloud infrastructure projects from planning through delivery.
• Partner with Security teams on threat detection, network segmentation, incident response, and cloud security initiatives.
• Identify infrastructure risks and opportunities, implement sustainable solutions, and mentor colleagues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience administering enterprise AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking and security, including virtual private clouds, transit gateways, routing, and network segmentation.
• Practical experience writing, testing, and deploying infrastructure with Terraform.
• Ability to independently lead complex technical initiatives and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and help colleagues develop their expertise.

Nice to have

• Cloud or infrastructure-as-code certifications.
• Experience explaining cloud architecture, strategy, and technical debt to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting for infrastructure and operational automation.
