Sr. Systems Administrator

Location: Washington, D.C.; full-time onsite at DIA headquarters. Applicants must currently reside in the United States.

Salary: USD $126,854–$190,280 per year.

What you will do

• Support legacy and existing systems for the Defense Intelligence Agency.
• Independently manage multiple complex systems administration assignments with minimal oversight.
• Plan and lead major technology assignments and develop solutions to complex technical problems.
• Contribute to project deliverables and performance metrics.
• Evaluate performance results and recommend changes that support project growth and success.
• Serve as a technical expert across multiple assignments and potentially supervise other staff.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph is required.
• Master’s degree and 8+ years of related systems administration experience, including recent experience within the last 2 years; alternatively, a bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of systems administration experience.
• Security+ certification is required.
• Experience with Java, JPA, JAX-RS, JCE, Hibernate, Spring, JavaScript, Apache Ant, Apache HTTPD, and Apache Tomcat.
• Experience with Apache Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, OracleDB, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7–9.
• Knowledge of FIPS mode, SELinux, firewalld, fapolicyd, and basic system administration.

• Oracle experience supporting legacy applications.
• Cloud computing, digital security, and SQL experience.
• Experience creating solutions to complex problems in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
• Experience using automated testing tools for testing and maintenance.
