Salary: $143,903.37–$250,220.03 annually

What you will do

• Assess and document the current enterprise data management architecture.
• Define future-state architecture aligned with organizational and agency-wide standards.
• Identify architectural gaps and recommend long-term approaches for data, metadata, APIs, security, and governance.
• Incorporate records management requirements into the early design of IT solutions.
• Help establish a centralized data lake or lakehouse for disparate data.
• Help build a scalable, secure microservices-based platform to support data sharing and technology onboarding.

Requirements

• Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related technical discipline.
• 15 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; fewer years may be accepted with an advanced degree.
• Experience architecting solutions for complex application problems and translating requirements into end-to-end system designs.
• Knowledge of enterprise data strategy, data governance, data stewardship, data architecture, data standards, and metadata management.
• Experience with full-lifecycle software development, web services, SOA, application integration, data warehousing, ETL, data profiling, data mining, or metadata repositories.

Nice to have

• Doctorate or equivalent experience and 20 years of professional experience.
• Five years of Intelligence Community experience.
• Experience with the Sponsor’s EDM systems, architecture, business areas, and integration needs.
• Previous SETA contractor experience and the ability to work in a consultative role.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
