Senior Manager, Internal Communications

Location: USA - Remote

Salary: $145,000–$178,000 outside San Francisco, New York City, and Seattle; $170,000–$200,000 in San Francisco, New York City, and Seattle. Equity and bonus are offered.

What you will do

• Develop clear, timely internal communications that keep employees informed about company priorities, decisions, and major developments.
• Build communication channels, cadences, and systems for a growing distributed workforce.
• Partner with the CEO and executive team on all-hands meetings, memos, Slack announcements, and other employee communications.
• Plan internal communication strategies for fundraises, launches, leadership changes, reorganizations, and other major company moments.
• Translate complex technical, business, and strategic information into clear communications for employees across functions.
• Use data, AI, and other tools to measure and improve the effectiveness and scalability of communications.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of communications experience, primarily in internal or executive communications at a high-growth technology company.
• Experience owning internal communications at a fast-growing company and supporting remote or globally distributed workforces.
• Ability to earn executive trust, write in executive voices, provide candid feedback, and handle sensitive information discreetly.
• Strong systems thinking, rapid and clear writing across formats, and the ability to simplify complex technical and business topics.
• Experience communicating major company moments and using data and feedback to improve communication outcomes.
• AI-native approach to drafting, editing, summarizing, measuring communications, and building AI-powered workflows or tools.

Nice to have

• Experience at an AI, developer-first, or technical B2B company.
• Experience building an employee advocacy program or helping employees act as company ambassadors.
• Experience working at a fully remote or globally distributed company during rapid headcount growth.
