Internal Communications Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY; hybrid policy requires staff to be in an office at least 25% of the time.

Annual salary: $295,000–$345,000 USD.

What you will do

• Own the internal communications strategy for the go-to-market organization and become a trusted partner to its leadership team.
• Advise the Chief Commercial Officer, draft communications in the executive's voice, and provide counsel on messaging and timing.
• Manage a small team supporting the global GTM organization.
• Translate complex sales strategies and customer stories into clear narratives for employees across functions.
• Anticipate communications needs around launches, customer wins, organizational changes, and external attention.
• Plan and execute all-hands meetings, AMAs, and communications cascades across existing channels.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in communications or an adjacent field such as journalism, speechwriting, chief of staff work, or strategy and operations.
• Exceptional writing skills and the ability to distill complex concepts into plain English.
• Experience advising senior leaders and building trusted executive relationships.
• Ability to connect team updates to company strategy and mission, with strong organizational judgment and storytelling skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to work from San Francisco or New York City and attend an office at least 25% of the time.

• Experience at an AI company, frontier technology company, or similarly fast-moving organization.
