Field Service Engineer III (Semiconductor Equipment)

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer semiconductor equipment.
• Apply diagnostic techniques and digital analytics to troubleshoot technical issues with support from Senior Field Service Engineers.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and customers to understand process flows, roadmaps, requirements, and business challenges.
• Train and mentor junior Field Service Engineers.
• Communicate directly with customers and coordinate service activities.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor or equipment support industry.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, and/or thermodynamics.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and digital multimeters, plus basic Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to meet all on-site, safety, environmental, cleanroom, and physical requirements; travel is required 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience with ALD, CMP, DDP, EPI, ETCH, FEP, MDP, SRP, or VSE.
