European Marketplace Trading Manager (eCommerce)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end commercial performance and P&L outcomes for a portfolio of brands across European marketplaces.
• Manage listings, pricing, promotions, availability, catalogue compliance, and account health on BOL.com, OTTO, Kaufland, and related platforms.
• Monitor revenue, conversion, traffic, rankings, reviews, ratings, costs, and contribution margin, translating SKU- and marketplace-level analysis into actions.
• Plan and execute product launches, promotions, and peak trading events such as Prime Day and Black Friday.
• Define marketplace growth strategies, manage forecasting and budgets, and optimise PPC for efficient growth and search visibility.
• Collaborate with brand, creative, product development, supply chain, and finance teams to improve execution, inventory readiness, profitability, and product development.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on eCommerce experience owning brands on European marketplaces, ideally BOL.com, OTTO, Kaufland, or Amazon.
• Strong commercial understanding of revenue, profitability, cash flow, and contribution margin.
• Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and turn insights into action.
• Ownership mindset, strong execution skills, structured organisation, and the ability to manage multiple brands, marketplaces, and projects.
• Effective cross-functional collaboration and clear communication with varied stakeholders.
• Fluent English and German required; Dutch is a bonus.
