Occupational Therapist (Pediatric Mental Health)

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States; hybrid environment with onsite work required on a need basis. Evaluations primarily take place on weekdays after 3 pm EST and/or on weekends.

Salary: $45–$55 USD per hour

What you will do

• Conduct at least six 60-minute occupational therapy evaluations per week, followed by 30 minutes of documentation for each evaluation.
• Identify candidates for short-term, focused occupational therapy programs.
• Deliver 30-minute treatment sessions addressing emotional regulation, sensory processing, executive functioning, and daily participation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with specialty providers.
• Participate in weekly interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Maintain a schedule including morning and evening evaluations, with a primary focus on weekday evening and weekend availability.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
• Valid Pennsylvania state Occupational Therapy license.
• At least two years of occupational therapy experience in a pediatric or multidisciplinary setting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and related technology.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality under HIPAA regulations.
