1099 Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

Location: Fully remote within the United States; eligibility to work in the United States is required. Additional state licenses must be obtained as needed; Florida, Illinois, and/or New York licenses are highly preferred.

What you will do

• Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners in a supervisory-only capacity, with no direct patient care.
• Provide clinical guidance and case consultation across virtual behavioral health programs.
• Conduct chart reviews and audits to support quality and consistency of care.
• Provide input on internal clinical practice standards.
• Collaborate with Clinical Supervisors on care quality and clinical consistency.

Requirements

• MD or DO with board certification in Psychiatry.
• Experience in child and adolescent mental health treatment and psychiatry.
• Experience collaborating with or supervising Nurse Practitioners.
• Experience with telehealth, EHRs, video communication, and related technology.
• Active DEA registration and knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
• Fluency in English and eligibility to work in the United States are required; visa sponsorship or assistance obtaining work eligibility is not available.

Nice to have

• Child and Adolescent Psychiatry board certification.
• Florida, Illinois, and/or New York state licenses.
• Experience with managed care, Medicaid, private payers, Addiction, SMI, SUD, or Dual Diagnosis.
• Spanish or another additional language.
