Financial Operations Specialist

Salary: $56,000–$74,000 per year

What you will do

• Process, reconcile, and distribute customer invoices while identifying and correcting billing errors.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging, support collections, resolve payment issues, and apply customer payments accurately.
• Prepare billing, payment, collections, and key-metric reports.
• Support month-end close by reconciling accounts receivable and contributing to financial reporting.
• Improve billing, collections, and order-to-cash processes, systems, and tooling.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, and Business Systems, and support internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or financial operations.
• Strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication for technical, go-to-market, customer, and senior stakeholder audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial software.
• Experience with AI-powered tools and a demonstrated ability to improve cross-functional processes and drive adoption.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce, Sage Intacct, or Zuora.
• Curiosity about the product and domain, with strong follow-through and validation skills.
