Accounts Payable Specialist (AI)

Location: Virtual US

Base salary: $70,000–$80,000 annually; 10% target annual bonus and total target compensation of $77,000–$88,000.

Healthcare technology company developing AI-driven precision diagnostic software for quantifying and characterizing coronary artery plaque to help prevent heart attacks.

What you will do

• Analyze and process invoices in Bill.com, including expense classification, payment terms, and payment accuracy.
• Use Concur and Ramp for expense management and review vendor and contractor contracts for appropriate accounting treatment.
• Prepare prepaid expense amortization schedules and analyze weekly cash requirements.
• Evaluate healthcare provider payments for compliance with Sunshine Act requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Manage vendor relationships, resolve invoice issues, improve processes, monitor expenses against budget, and file 1099 forms on time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 2–3 years of experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• SAP Concur experience is required. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to daily change.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bill.com and Ramp.com.
• Experience in health software and technology, healthcare, or medical devices.
