EHS Manager (Manufacturing)

hirify.global is hiring an EHS Manager for its Beloit facility.

What you will do

• Manage environmental, health, and safety programs, permits, inspections, workers’ compensation, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct job hazard assessments, job safety analyses, hazard mapping, and safety trend analysis.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and escalated injury or incident calls.
• Develop and deliver EHS training and communication materials for facility teams.
• Coordinate safety action plans and projects with facility and maintenance leadership.
• Implement environmental risk controls covering air compliance, spill prevention, pollution prevention, hazardous waste, auditing, and environmental training.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental studies, or an equivalent field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environmental, health, and safety setting.
• Understanding of industry, local, state, and federal EHS requirements and regulatory agencies.
• Professional certifications such as CIH, CSP, ASP, CHMM, or PE are strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong verbal, written, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to train employees, lead cross-functional safety initiatives, work independently and collaboratively, and apply problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• CIH, CSP, ASP, CHMM, and/or PE certification.
