Salary: $71,000 - $110,000 USD

What you will do

• Plan and implement environmental, health, and safety policies in compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Conduct incident investigations for accidents, injuries, and potential hazards.
• Coordinate and maintain environmental programs, including auditing and inspection for the facility.
• Manage environmental and industrial hygiene testing for storm water, sound, and personal exposures.
• Oversee safety engineering controls, including combustible dust detection and suppression systems.
• Develop and deliver safety education, training, and promotional programs for employees.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of direct safety responsibility, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• BS/Masters Degree in occupational health & safety, engineering, or environmental sciences.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state safety regulations and risk control strategies.
• Experience managing Title V air permits and stormwater/wastewater compliance.
• Must be able to work onsite in Meridian, ID.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, holidays, weekends, and extended hours as required.

Nice to have

• ASP/CSP, CHMM, PE, or Registered Environmental Manager/Professional certifications.
• OSHA outreach trainer or Powered Industrial Truck trainer experience.
