Engineering Specialist III

Location: Onsite at Woodlands, Singapore. The role starts on a normal weekday shift and may transition to a 12-hour shift including nights and weekends.

What you will do

• Assemble, align, and integrate mechanical and electrical subsystems for sputtering equipment using schematics and build instructions.
• Install vacuum chambers, pumps, valves, control panels, and related equipment components.
• Perform functional and quality checks during and after equipment installation.
• Troubleshoot and rework basic mechanical and electrical tool issues.
• Support equipment installations, conversions, upgrades, build improvements, and reliability enhancements.
• Lead junior engineering specialists in completing tasks on schedule while following safety and cleanroom standards.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or a diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on ability with torque wrenches, multimeters, and vacuum gauges.
• Mechanical or electrical equipment assembly and troubleshooting experience is preferred.
• Comfort working onsite in a cleanroom and structured manufacturing environment, including possible 12-hour night and weekend shifts.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with sputter PVD equipment.
• Experience with cleanroom environments and vacuum systems.
