Engineering Technician (Front End Processing)

What you will do

• Perform routine to moderately complex design, testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, subsystems, components, prototypes, specialized test equipment, tools, and fixtures.
• Support new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, rework, and correction of manufacturing or engineering problems.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on hirify.global platforms according to engineering and manufacturing specifications.
• Prepare logbooks, test procedures, and quality notifications using clear technical documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, secure, and healthy work environment.

Requirements

• Analytical skills and the ability to apply scientific methods to technical activities.
• Ability to recognize and solve typical problems using established procedures or scientific methods.
• Ability to read and work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and written or verbal instructions.
• Good communication and technical writing skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting, and working in tight spaces.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools, heavy machinery, and required cleanroom personal protective equipment.
