Senior Engineering Specialist (Sputter Maintenance)

Location: Woodlands, Singapore, W3; onsite work in a clean room environment with a 12-hour shift pattern.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and product conversion of sputtering tools.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment issues and follow up on chronic machine problems.
• Lead technicians in maintaining and improving overall equipment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with equipment and process engineering on tool reliability and product defect reduction.
• Initiate projects focused on OEE, productivity, safety hazard reduction, and cost savings.
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve tool stability and manufacturing performance.

Requirements

• Relevant experience with predictive and preventive equipment maintenance.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting equipment maintenance issues.
• Familiarity with mechanical engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Leadership skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work collaboratively on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Willingness to work in a clean room and follow a 12-hour shift pattern.

Nice to have

• Experience with PLC controls.
• Experience with vacuum technology.
• Additional equipment maintenance experience.
