Director, Program Management (UAS)

Salary: $148,000–$237,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the Program Management Office and oversee 5 to 8 Program/Project Managers.
• Formulate and execute long-term master plans and schedules for UAS design and development.
• Direct project plans, budgets, resources, deliverables, and priorities from initiation through delivery.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical direction to program and project management staff.
• Support proposal development, contract negotiation, contract compliance, bids, cost estimates, and project specifications.
• Assess feasibility, risks, resources, and market demand while driving change and predictable program results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of directly related program management experience.
• 5–7 years of people management experience overseeing Project and Program Managers.
• Experience leading a major function or product area, including planning, staffing, budgeting, and change implementation.
• Knowledge of technical design principles, strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, negotiation, and production coordination.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or qualifying protected individual; U.S. person status is required for ITAR/EAR compliance.
