Senior Business Analyst (P&C Insurance)

Location: New York, United States

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 per year, plus potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Analyze marketing operations, conversion funnels, underwriting operations, and sales performance.
• Gather and document business and data-analysis requirements from stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Claims, IT, and analytics.
• Support process improvements across the top and bottom funnel, conversion operations, and reporting.
• Develop Business Requirement Documents, Functional Requirement Documents, process flows, and user stories.
• Support system enhancements, integrations, and data initiatives.
• Plan and execute UAT, validate solutions, and coordinate defect triage.

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in P&C Insurance.
• Strong hands-on experience with insurance data and analytics, particularly Auto and Home personal insurance.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end underwriting, marketing, and conversion workflows.
• Experience with requirements elicitation and documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, and user stories.
• Knowledge of process modeling tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or BPMN, and Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Data analysis skills using SQL, Excel, or BI tools, along with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
