Principal Business Systems Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Remote - Nationwide, United States; primary location Greenwood Village, Colorado. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT sponsorship, is not available.

Base salary: $114,000–$165,300 per year, with eligibility for a bonus program.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional Agile collaboration to gather, analyze, and document complex business and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into user stories, workflows, process analyses, flow diagrams, and technical solution documentation.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, Engineers, Architects, System Analysts, and Quality Assurance.
• Analyze systems and processes, troubleshoot issues, conduct impact analyses, and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Contribute to application roadmaps, scalability and resilience initiatives, and major-incident business support.
• Coach and mentor other Analysts and lead the Analyst community center of excellence within the value stream.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience working with development and systems teams as a Lead Business Systems Analyst.
• Strong ability to analyze complex business processes, identify problems, and develop practical solutions.
• Experience collecting, documenting, and managing system requirements and producing reports, manuals, workflows, and specifications.
• Understanding of complex multi-platform applications and databases, with proficiency in SQL, Toad, MS Access, Excel, and/or SharePoint.
• Strong knowledge of Agile development methodology, including Jira and Confluence.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Prior production support and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience as a QA professional or Developer.
