Senior Platform Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Define and evolve the technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for AWS cloud platforms.
• Design and build scalable, secure, resilient, and reusable platform capabilities.
• Develop self-service tooling and services that improve developer productivity and reduce operational complexity.
• Drive automation across infrastructure, software delivery, operational processes, and platform lifecycle management.
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, performance, observability, and operational efficiency.
• Lead complex platform initiatives from discovery and architectural design through implementation and adoption, while mentoring engineers and influencing senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Significant experience designing and operating internal developer platforms at scale.
• Strong experience with cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, networking, identity, security, and AWS infrastructure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automated cloud provisioning, CI/CD, and standardized engineering workflows.
• Knowledge of SRE principles, resilience, fault tolerance, observability, service-level objectives, monitoring, and alerting.
• Experience providing technical leadership across multiple engineering teams, driving decisions through ambiguity, and mentoring engineers.
