Location: Hybrid (London, UK) - minimum 60% office attendance required

Salary: £80,000 – £90,000

What you will do

• Deliver complex improvements to scalable and secure engineering platforms supporting the entire business.
• Evolve infrastructure using Terraform, identifying opportunities to improve quality, maintainability, and automation.
• Implement least-privilege and secure-by-default principles consistently across AWS accounts.
• Build automation scripts and tooling using Node.js or Python to ensure faster and safer delivery.
• Mentor mid-level engineers through code reviews and providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with Tech Leads and stakeholders to shape delivery plans and manage technical dependencies.

Requirements

• Strong experience with AWS services (ECS, Lambda, IAM, CloudFront) and operational security best practices.
• Proven expertise in delivering infrastructure changes via Terraform in large-scale cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Node.js or Python for practical automation and integration work.
• Deep understanding of secure cloud design, including account structure and OIDC authentication.
• Experience using AI tooling to support day-to-day engineering productivity and research.
• Track record of delivering outcomes within agile, delivery-focused teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-account or multi-region AWS management.
• Knowledge of CDN, WAF, and Git-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with enterprise-scale AWS environments.
