Project Managers (Aerospace)

Location: Midwest City, Oklahoma, United States; full-time onsite in the hirify.global Midwest City office

What you will do

• Manage multiple projects supporting the readiness and sustainment of USAF weapon systems and support equipment.
• Develop project plans, budgets, schedules, cost-to-complete inputs, and weekly cost and schedule reports.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, subcontractors, and contracting personnel to fulfill contractual requirements.
• Prepare purchase specifications, statements of work, quotes, purchase requests, sole-source justifications, and subcontract modifications.
• Monitor project performance, maintain risk registers and project documentation, and prepare activity, status, and performance reports.
• Support system requirements, design, prototype development, qualification testing, product integration, airworthiness, and reliability-centered maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, science, or business.
• 0–5 years of professional experience.
• Capabilities in systems engineering and integration, risk management, technical assessment, acquisition program management, business analysis, and mission effectiveness.
• Strong organizational, technical writing, and communication skills.
• Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and may be subject to a government security investigation.
• Occasional travel to subcontractor facilities locally and nationally may be required.

Nice to have

• Aerospace experience with the government at Tinker AFB.
• Experience developing system design and performance requirements, prototypes, qualification tests, and product integrations.
• Project Management Professional certification.
