Technical Project Manager II (Aerospace)

Location: Greater Seattle Area, United States. U.S. citizenship, nationality, permanent residency, or lawful admission as a refugee or asylee is required.

Salary: $90,934–$127,307.25 for Colorado applicants; $99,201–$138,880.35 for Washington applicants. Other site ranges may differ.

What you will do

• Manage cost, schedule, technical design, risks and opportunities, change management, and cross-functional coordination for New Glenn projects.
• Organize schedules and program plans for development, qualification, production hardware, and New Glenn build-flow activities.
• Define program operations and engineering strategies, assign projects and tasks, and track funding and budgets.
• Lead technical projects, facilitate project plans, monitor execution, resolve blocking issues, and maintain delivery schedules.
• Coordinate demand, prioritization, and execution of Fluid Systems hardware builds with multifunctional teams across the country.
• Present status, risks, opportunities, variances, recovery plans, KPI insights, and reporting to engineering, program management, and senior leadership.

Requirements

• B.S./B.A. degree in engineering or a similar technical field.
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably with aerospace hardware or complex technical systems.
• Experience with project planning, troubleshooting, coordination, configuration management, data analytics, and KPI generation.
• Proficiency in MS Project and strong written, verbal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and build effective relationships across engineering, manufacturing, operations, supply chain, finance, and quality organizations.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Nice to have

• Launch vehicle development, production, and operations experience.
• Experience using AI, Primavera P6, CREO, Windchill, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, SQL, or other coding tools.
• Experience with product lifecycle management, critical path scheduling, IMP/IMS, risk and requirements management, EVM, or corporate finance.
• PMP certification and experience with large, geographically dispersed programs.
