Senior Ops Excellence Leader - Project Management (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Drive Lean Six Sigma implementation and continuous improvement across Lunar Operations.
• Lead cross-functional workshops using backward planning to optimize operational processes.
• Develop and track key performance indicators for process effectiveness.
• Coordinate multiple concurrent lunar operations projects and align Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management.
• Present operational excellence metrics and improvement opportunities to senior leadership.
• Implement structured change and risk management approaches that address root causes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
• 12–15 years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or related roles.
• Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean, PMP, or equivalent methodologies; Black Belt is preferred.
• Experience implementing Lean Six Sigma in complex operations and working in aerospace, defense, or another regulated industry.
• Strong facilitation, communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Must meet U.S. export-control employment eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with space systems and lunar operations.
• Training or teaching experience in process improvement methodologies.
