What you will do

• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and technical performance across the full ground system development lifecycle.
• Act as the primary project contact for internal business units including New Glenn, Lunar, and Engines programs.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, and supply chain teams to define work packages and maintain project schedules.
• Apply technical judgment to evaluate design trades, assess risks, and support decision-making during checkpoint reviews.
• Track project performance metrics and develop recovery plans to address bottlenecks or issues.
• Mentor junior project team members and contribute to process improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or related STEM discipline.
• 8+ years of experience managing complex, cross-organizational engineering capital projects.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee.
• Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent projects with independent budgets and stakeholders.
• Experience as a Budget Owner with delegated cost approval authority.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (PMBOK or equivalent).

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience with high-pressure or cryogenic fluid systems.
• Familiarity with ground system lifecycle processes like HAZOP, PSM, and configuration management.
• Experience with construction project coordination and subcontract management.
