Senior Cleans Process Engineer

Location: Chandler, AZ; office-based. The role supports a high-volume 24x7 manufacturing environment and may require schedule adjustments to support factory priorities.

What you will do

• Support multiple cleans processes across a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing facility.
• Reduce defectivity, cycle time, scrap, and operational costs while improving yield.
• Improve tool utilization, equipment availability, and recurring machine-fault performance.
• Support development activities, write specifications, and implement Six-Sigma statistical process control methods.
• Perform capacity planning and modeling and lead or participate in cross-functional Lean activities.
• Train colleagues and collaborate with Maintenance, Manufacturing, Facilities, Analytical Lab, Device Engineering, peer factories, and equipment vendors.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in engineering or a science discipline.
• 7+ years of process engineering experience in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in a Cleans process role preferred, with the ability to manage multiple tools across multiple platforms.
• Ability to generate, analyze, and interpret equipment and process performance data and develop action plans for recurring failures.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, presentation, training, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage changing priorities, take initiative, and adjust the work schedule for 24x7 factory support.

Nice to have

• Experience with SCP9400, WS-820L, Akrion GAMA wet benches, Semitool SST/SAT/RADR batch solvent cleaning systems, Screen 80B/80EX spray tools, or FSI Mercury/Zeta.
• Previous experience with Lean Manufacturing methods.
