Process Engineer, New Product Introduction

What you will do

• Serve as the primary process and manufacturing expert on new product introduction cross-functional teams.
• Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes, procedures, tooling, and automation for new products.
• Lead process development and design transfer activities within hirify.global and at suppliers.
• Plan and conduct manufacturing technical reviews, development builds, and process validations.
• Prepare quality-system documentation, including bills of materials, routers, FMEAs, validation protocols, and reports.
• Provide design-for-manufacturability input and participate in Lean reviews and Kaizen events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science, mechanical engineering, or a related engineering field.
• At least 7 years of experience in process or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with process control, process validation, product and process FMEA, and design of experiments.
• Knowledge of problem-solving and process-improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and DMAIC.
• Experience with measurement systems, including CMMs, vision inspection, or profilometers.
• Must already have full-time work authorization in the United States and be able to maintain it without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Minitab, SolidWorks, Mastercam, and GD&T according to ASME Y14.5M-1994.
• Master’s degree in engineering.
• Metals or plastics machining experience.
