Operations Transformation Intern

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid work with in-person attendance required at least three days per week at a hirify.global office or client site.

Salary: $37 per hour

What you will do

• Support cross-functional teams delivering operational efficiency, digital operations, product modernization, and business transformation initiatives.
• Contribute to business opportunity assessments, solution strategy and design, program management, technology implementation, and organizational change activities.
• Transform data and analytics into actionable performance insights.
• Build trusted working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders while managing expectations and engagement satisfaction.
• Identify delivery risks, issues, and recommended remediation approaches.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to client and internal teams.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Demonstrated interest in operational strategy, performance improvement, and business transformation.
• Digital fluency, including effective use of technology, data, and basic AI technologies.
• Experience through coursework, internships, or projects with process mapping, data analysis, or operational assessments.
• Ability to work in teams, meet tight deadlines, and communicate insights in a structured and compelling way.
