2027 Summer Healthcare Strategy & Operations Consulting Intern (Healthcare Consulting)

Location: United States; compensation applies across offices in Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, and Massachusetts. Principally in-person with workplace flexibility and local, national, and occasional international travel.

Salary: $33.00–$36.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Develop and implement operational and strategic process improvements with health systems.
• Support workflow redesign using the CLEAR™ methodology, combining Change Management, Six Sigma, and Lean tools.
• Model, design, and deploy resources across the value-based care continuum.
• Analyze operational data to evaluate trends and anomalies.
• Research market trends and report findings for client engagements.
• Build client relationships and collaborate with staff at all levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; pursuing a master’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Interest in pursuing a career in healthcare consulting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Detail-oriented approach with problem-solving, communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Updated immunizations are required for staff working onsite at healthcare clients, in accordance with client and federal workplace safety requirements.

Nice to have

• Bilingual Japanese and English or Chinese and English may qualify for an exception to the sponsorship requirement.
