HMI Service Engineer

Location: Crolles, France; onsite at the customer fab, Monday–Friday. The role may require shift work in the future and includes 30–40% travel to support HMI customers mainly in Belgium, Germany, and Ireland.

What you will do

• Act as the primary technical representative at the customer site and maintain reliable HMI inspection equipment performance and uptime.
• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve technical problems involving HMI systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including software and hardware updates.
• Participate in the installation of new HMI machines with the dedicated installation team.
• Escalate complex issues to HMI second-line support and provide technical assistance to customers.
• Support other HMI customers remotely or onsite, primarily in Belgium, Germany, and Ireland.

Requirements

• BTS or DUT equivalent higher national diploma in an engineering field.
• At least 3 years of relevant hands-on experience working directly on machines.
• Upper-intermediate English at B2 level required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under strict hygiene and safety conditions in a cleanroom environment.
• Self-motivated, proactive, autonomous, pragmatic, and flexible approach.

• French language skills.
